This question is one that has lived rent free in my brain for ages.
Being fulfilled in life has to be more than just money and sucess and whatever new product instagram is selling us.
Well it is.
A couple of super cool researchers from the University of Zurich named Doris Baummann and Willibald Ruch set out to find out what people consider to be fulfilling.
These are some of the things that people said:
“I have become closer and closer to the person I want to be.”
“A fulfilled life is when you are reconciled with your life in old age.”
But my favorite quote left me absolutely shook:
“One has left traces. One has moved the world, even if only in small pieces.”
This one is pure poetry.
